Rooted in Tradition, Driven by Purpose
Girgo was born from a deep reverence for India's Gir cow — a native breed celebrated for its A2-quality milk and sacred Ayurvedic value. We are on a mission to bring back the purity of tradition into today's fast-paced modern lifestyle.
Our Gir cows are free-grazing, well-cared for, and respected as sacred beings. Every product that leaves our farm carries the soul of ancient Vedic wisdom and the purity of untouched nature.

In Ayurveda, desi cow milk is classified as Sattvic — pure, life-giving, and spiritually elevating. The Gir cow, one of India's most revered indigenous breeds, produces milk rich in A2 beta-casein protein, structured fat globules, and natural prana that commercial dairy can never replicate.
At GirGo, every drop of milk is a direct connection to this ancient lineage. Our cows are not numbers in a factory. They are cared for with love, reverence, and the understanding that a healthy, happy cow gives medicine, not just milk.
The great sage Vasishtha declared: 'Gomayam Pavitram' — cow dung is the purest of purifiers. Science has since confirmed what Vedic knowledge always knew: fresh Gir cow dung contains antiseptic and antimicrobial compounds. When burned as dhoop or formed into diyas, it purifies the air, repels insects, and elevates the energy of any space.
Our ritual products are handcrafted by women artisans in our Gaushala community — a living tradition of sacred craft. Every diya, every dhoop stick is infused with prayer and made with only natural materials: Gir cow dung, camphor, herbs, and pure ghee wicks. No charcoal, no chemical binders, no synthetic fragrances.
The Pancha — the sacred five — are the gifts of Gomata that form the foundation of Ayurvedic medicine: Ksheera (milk), Dadhi (curd), Ghrita (ghee), Gomutra (urine), and Gomaya (dung). Together they form Panchagavya — a complete system of healing that predates modern medicine by millennia.
These are not superstitions. They are the accumulated wisdom of generations of Ayurvedic physicians, validated in the texts of Charaka, Sushruta, and Vagbhata. At GirGo, we offer these sacred preparations exactly as described — from Gir cows raised in our Gaushala with devotion and care.
